kabonfootprint processing
Kabonfootprint mapping process will start when the technician will start to identify where is the actual location of the pilot project. Normally the project lead will decide where are the area to be capture of the footprint based on the demand from the customer. There will be a lot of parameters that the project lead need to consider before he identify the area and the technology to be use in this mapping process.
For sure the technology like GIS, GPS, and Remote sensing will help very much in identifying the footprint level and the size of the footprint. The methodology to be adopted is listed below.
1. Identifying the area- This will be very much depend on the requirement from the customer. Some time, the area of the project do not cover the footprint or less footprint but because that is the requirement from the customer, the project lead will decide on how many days to spend or other project management component in order to give the best results to the customer. For sure they might be some political influences from other people.
2. Identifying the co-ordinate-This include the GPS technology where the project team member will bring out the GPS equipment and start to identify the whole structure of the footprint. Normally they will not only do point sampling of the footprint but also do the perimeter survey of that area. The accepted accuracy for GPS for this footprint tracking was plus minus sub mm.
3. Mapping process- Once the GPS job has been done, the next step is to do mapping of the footprint. This process is where the GIS technology is involve. There will be using a lot of GIS tools and software such as Arcgis software to do mapping
4. Analysis- This analysis of the footprint become more accurate if the satellite images will be use to overlay the GIS layer of the kabonfootprint so that the advance analysis can be carry out.
